RULES AND REGULATIONS
HOURS OF USE
South Shore Hive is available between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday-Friday. Saturdays and Sundays from 8am – 4pm.
Setup & cleanup must be included in the scheduled time of use.
The room must be vacated of all persons and belongings by the time specified during scheduling.
Please be aware that South Shore Hive will not accommodate walk-ins for space under any circumstance. Space MUST be reserved in advance and subject to availability.
ROOM SETUP/CLEAN UP
Meeting
The meeting space should be left in the same condition it was found. Should South Shore Hive need to perform any cleaning services, a cleaning fee of $150.00 will be charged to the renter. This applies to any additional room cleaning or trash that is left behind and includes all food/beverage, catering supplies, boxes, etc.
South Shore Hive does not provide any food & beverage services for outside meetings without prior arrangements. We are happy to assist you and source all required onsite needs including food & beverage, event supplies, etc.
No alcoholic beverages are to be served under any circumstance.
Attendees are required to stay in the room that is reserved; switching rooms without consent is prohibited.
EQUIPMENT
South Shore Hive has the following equipment available onsite for an additional rental fee: Monitor, Podium, Easels, Cordless Microphone, Wireless Mouse and Projector. All special needs must be reserved in advance.
Renter is responsible for the repair of any damage incurred to South Shore Hive’s equipment while in the renter’s use. If there is loss the renter will be held fully responsible for replacing the equipment.
DECORATIONS & SIGNS
All displays, banners, decorations, etc. shall not be taped, tacked or nailed into the walls or any other surface of South Shore Hive.
No candles or open flames are permitted.
NOISE
All event attendees must be considerate of businesses surrounding South Shore Hive during normal business hours, Monday – Friday. Any behavior or activity considered disruptive or harmful to adjacent businesses will be asked to leave.
GENERAL INFORMATION
South Shore Hive will not assume responsibility or liability for personal property and equipment brought onto the property or left in the building.
Any matters not specifically covered in this agreement shall be subject solely to the discretion of South Shore Hive.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any changes requested will be based on availability.
If the renter needs to cancel or reschedule, 48 hours before the scheduled meeting time cancellation notice is required and cancellation fees apply.
South Shore Hive is not responsible for cancellations due to inclement weather, natural disasters or acts of God.
ONSITE MEETING & EVENT SPACE SPECS
South Shore Hive has three rental spaces available.
The Loft – 2nd Floor
Located on the second floor, can accommodate 10 seated at the conference tables due to covid restrictions.
The conference room is ideally suited for virtual events, podcasts, seminars, workshops, retreats, networking, luncheons, breakfast meetings, or demo/training sessions.
The Community Room – 1st Floor
Located on the first floor, can accommodate up to 10 guests safely seated.
This room is ideally suited for small meetings, one-to-one sessions, photo shoots or pop-up shops.
The Lounge – 1st Floor
Located on the first floor, The Lounge is available for use at all events and is the perfect place to stage hospitality and control event flow throughout the first floor.
The Bee Suite - 1st Floor
Our take on the Executive Suite. The room features two executive desks, smart tv, wireless printer, white boards and window with loads of natural light.
TO CONFIRM SPACE
The undersigned, hereby agrees to be responsible for any damages to the building occurring and by this use and agrees to take responsibility of all conduct of all persons attending their event. The undersigned has read through this agreement and agrees to comply with the rules and regulations and the schedule of pricing listed therein. All space must be pre-paid to finalize the booking.
